Much like her semifinal, Cathy started out strong on the buzzer, picking up $2,200 in SHE-ROES! However, Adam stormed back in A TEXTBOOK CATEGORY and got to play the Daily Double at the category’s bottom! Scores:
Adam bet $1,800. His clue: “The Eyes on the Prize Civil Rights Reader” includes this 1963 letter that begins “While Confined Here”. His correct response put him at $3,600!

Adam spent time working as a quality control chemist in a steel mill and also spent time as a radio play by play voice for a college football team at Monmouth!

If Roger Craig were in this position, he’d definitely make it a True Daily Double! Because there is still a full game and a half a round to make up a deficit, the situation (and clue value) screams for an aggressive wager.
