Andy’s Pregame Thoughts:
There was over a two-month break the first time around between last week’s encore presentation and this week’s; in the Encore Presentation universe, Laura Faddah continues her run without having to deal with the postseason break; today, she faces off against Virginia engineer Omar Abu Realh and California TV editor Roger Ghaman.

(The following write-up is original content and is copyright 2026 The Jeopardy! Fan. It may not be copied without linked attribution back to this page.)
Amazing Stories was the name of the first dedicated science fiction magazine, created by Hugo Gernsback in 1926, well known in science fiction history for publishing the first stories of major genre writers such as Isaac Asimov and Ursula K. Le Guin. It licensed its name to Steven Spielberg in the 1980s to title Spielberg’s science fiction anthology TV series, which ran for two seasons.
I remember there being a lot of criticism when this Final originally aired over its difficulty, and I have to say that in hindsight, I agree with that criticism.

Looking to find out who won Jeopardy! today? Here’s the June 13-14, 2026 Jeopardy! by the numbers, along with a recap:
Game Recap:
This game played quite similar to many of Laura’s games, with 15 incorrect responses leading to four unplayed clues. Omar’s pair of Daily Double misses left him out of contention, while Laura’s Daily Double miss left nobody in five figures entering Final.
This difficult Final Jeopardy played as a Triple Stumper, which should have been advantage Roger because he was inside of two thirds. Unforuntately, though, he overbet (and even appeared to make a math error to boot), giving victory #8 to Laura.
Next week’s encore presentation will feature Laura going for win #9 against Harvey Silikovitz and Sabrina Blanks.
Scores going into Final:
Laura $9,200
Roger $6,600
Omar $800
Tonight’s results:
Omar $800 – $0 = $800 (What is Popular Science N Pop Start)
Roger $6,600 – $3,601 = $2,999 (What is Outer Limits? <3 U Krista)
Laura $9,200 – $4,001 = $5,199 (What is Unsolved Mysteries?) (8-day total: $92,599)

Game Stats:
Laura $11,000 Coryat, 14 correct, 3 incorrect, 26.42% in first on buzzer (14/53), 2/2 on rebound attempts (on 8 rebound opportunities)
Roger $6,600 Coryat, 13 correct, 3 incorrect, 30.19% in first on buzzer (16/53), 0/0 on rebound attempts (on 7 rebound opportunities)
Omar $4,600 Coryat, 16 correct, 9 incorrect, 35.85% in first on buzzer (19/53), 2/4 on rebound attempts (on 5 rebound opportunities)
Combined Coryat Score: $22,200
