Who is Zelda Fitzgerald?
Zelda Fitzgerald’s writing first became known when the New York Tribune asked Zelda to write a cheeky review of her husband’s second novel, The Beautiful and Damned. The success of the piece led to Zelda receiving offers to write other magazine articles, one of which became Metropolitan Magazine‘s “Eulogy on the Flapper”. One quote from the piece:
The flapper awoke from the lethargy of sub-deb-ism, bobbed her hair, put on her choicest pair of earrings and a great deal of audacity and rouge and went into battle.

A smart bet and a smart player…finally a bet that made sense.
Considering that Austin was in 3rd place heading into DJ!, I thought he was one-and-done. Austin’s 2nd DD made up from the money lost from the first DD. What a comeback!
I’ve seen bigger comebacks than trailing by 2600 after DD1, 1900 after DD2 and 1500 going into DD3. 😉
