Correct response: What is Armistice?
More information about Final Jeopardy:
Following World War I, Armistice Day was observed (on November 11) to commemmorate the armistice that ended World War I. It was made a legal holiday in 1938. Following World War II, however, Alabama World War II veteran Raymond Weeks had the idea to expand Armistice Day to celebrate all veterans, not just those who died in World War I. General Eisenhower supported this; when he became President, the amendement changing Armistice Day to Veterans Day was approved in 1954.

Great news about Alex Trebek’s return! And a fine run by Gilbert comes to an end. I’m looking forward to seeing Gilbert again in the Tournament of Champions.
