More information about Final Jeopardy:
Publishers Clearing House (PCH) was founded in 1953 by Harold Mertz; its original mailing of 10,000 envelopes received 100 magazine subscription requests. Once prizes began being offered, PCH realized that response rates to its mailings were increasing. PCH is now known for its “Prize Patrol”, where they surprise winners with a check at home.

You’d probably have to have never owned a television to not get this correct, and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen the commercials on Jeopardy!, so anything less than 3 for 3 would be a surprise.
Gotta agree, though I am normally not for extreme predictions (3/3 or 0/3). But this is as simple as 2 days ago with Novosibirsk.
Jim & John: You’re too optimistic.
Looks like it. Leaving “Clearinghouse” out does not help either, though it was in the end a lucky day for Rachel. And we have another -at least- 4 day champ!

I got this one right away, although I never participated in it. I didn’t get New Siberia, however, though after looking at longer, I should have, as a linguistics person. I’ve looked more at Polish (my husband’s heritage) and Czech (mine — a Dvorak in my family tree.)
I got FJ right of the bat. Hooray for me.
