Correct response: What is Medicare?
More information about Final Jeopardy:
In 1965, under the provisions of the Social Security Act, President Lyndon Johnson and Congress enacted Medicare, in order to provide health insurance for people 65 or older, regardless of income or medical history. It was signed into law at the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library in Independence, Missouri; Harry and his wife Bess became the first Medicare recipients.
When Medicare payments to physicians, hospitals, and the like became conditional on desegregation of medical facilities in 1966, it led to very quick racial integration of many medical facilities in the United States.

Lately there have been almost no comments. Is there an electronic reason for this?
I’m not sure, but I think that there weather issues plaguing the Northeast, so I think viewership in general for the show might be down (The number of people on the site was down yesterday as well.)
Or maybe contestants have been playing so well, with no mannerisms that upset people and no apparel that people dislike, so commenters have nothing to complain about? Hmmm, based upon what people like to complain about, I don’t think that’s likely. I like Andy’s hypothesis better.
I thought personal comments about contestants were not allowed on this site, and don’t recall ever seeing a comment about a contestant’s apparel.
…or “mannerisms” for that matter.
Some of the more detailed numbers have come in. There were a good 25-30% fewer people even searching for “Jeopardy!” on Google on Monday compared to a normal day. I’d blame the weather.
No but you’ll find lots of that on twitter unfortunately! 😉
