The Arkansas School for the Deaf, located in Little Rock, has existed since 1850 and currently houses an elementary school, middle school, and high school on its campus.
Its sports teams are punningly called the Leopards, after the rock band Def Leppard, who formed in England in 1977. Their first five studio albums went platinum in the United States, and three compilation albums have since done so.
