Correct response: What is The Lion King?
More information about Final Jeopardy:
The Hamlet influence in The Lion King was certainly seen in the similarity of the “the king was killed by the king’s brother in order to usurp the throne from the king’s son” trope.
It ended its theatrical run in 1994 as a hit with both critics and audiences, winning two Oscars, and was later adapted into a 1997 Broadway musical (winning the Tony for Best Musical).

And yet another champ (this time after 2 wins). Things are looking better and better for Jeffrey. Now Diane has to try to get at least 4… Nick’s 2 misses cost him the game. Had he gotten them right he would have had 14 K more and the lead before FJ.
Is it just me or has FJ been real easy this week? Though easy FJs don’t mean the reigning champ will win, could be any of the 3…
And for Mart of course.
And for Mart???
I don’t go much to movies in theaters and could only think of “Bambi.” But ironically I DID go to see “The Lion King” when my sister died suddenly in 1994 on her son’s birthday and we aunts gathered him up and went to see that movie. I don’t remember much of what was in the movie.
Thanks for adding the additional Stats, Andy…
