Correct response: What is Perth?
More information about Final Jeopardy:
With a population of just over 2 million, Perth is the fourth-most populous metropolitan area in Australia (behind Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane) and it is the capital city of Western Australia. It is easily the most populous Australian city on the Indian Ocean.
Indian Ocean Drive is a newer road in Australia’s road network, serving as Western Australia State Route 60. It cuts off 30 minutes between Perth and Geraldton than the previous route of the Brand Highway (Australia Highway 1 in that part of the country). Headed southwards, it is currently known as Indian Ocean Drive through to the Perth suburb of Wanneroo, at which point it becomes Wanneroo Road.
I’m going to be curious to see what the Australians think of this clue when the show airs in Australia (The show lags a few months behind North America in Australia.)
