Correct response: What is National Geographic?
More information about Final Jeopardy:
National Geographic was first published in September 1888, shortly after the founding of the National Geographic Society. It did not become well-known for its photography until 1905 until Gilbert Grosvenor, needing to fill pages in the January 1905 issue, published 11 pages of photographs from Tibet, including one of a 600-year-old monastery on Minya Konka mountain.
Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well! All proceeds from any “Keep The Faith And We’ll Win” shirt sold will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. To date, over $370 has been raised.)

Andy’s Thoughts:
- In this Final Jeopardy! betting situation, Sara had a guaranteed $25,000 and a freeroll at $50,000, simply by betting at least $12,801. Conor’s bet should have been capped at $12,200, in case Sara bet to cover and missed.

The answer was “Bob Marley”. The question was something like “This reggae star died in 1982, but is still active on Twitter and Bluecheck.”
I’m almost 100% sure it read “Bluecheck” and yet I’ve never heard of it, nor can I find any reference to a site by that name on line. Did I misread this?
You did.
The clue text was: “Despite passing away in 1981, this reggae legend is quite active on Twitter, blue check & all (his estate manages the account)”
“blue check” refers to Twitter’s verification system.
Thank you!
