Correct response: What is Blockbuster Video?
More information about Final Jeopardy:
With its second-to-last store in Morley, Western Australia closing on March 31, 2019, the once-iconic Blockbuster Video is down to one location: unsurprisingly, in Bend, an Oregon locale that many use as a jumping-off point to get back to nature. Due to its more remote location, many in the area do not have easy access to the high-speed internet required for content streaming that Netflix, Hulu, or others require; thus, there is still a demand for video rentals. The Bend location has a number of years left on its current lease and still signs a yearly agreement with Dish Network, which bought the brand in 2011, and over 4,000 people still have Blockbuster accounts at that Bend location.
Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well! All proceeds from any “Keep The Faith And We’ll Win” shirt sold will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. To date, over $440 has been raised.)

I assume my answer of “Blockbuster” would have been okay.
Yes, no one added “Video.”
It took me a second to get this one until I remembered the times I would go to the old Blockbuster where I lived. I would think all three contestants will get this one right.
If somebody in his great and unmatched wisdom would just resign, we would not have to have those hearings. I’m already sick of them.
I was “clueless” until ai saw the “Bend” part. I had a website called Ask It Here that was 10 years before Facebook. One member was from Bend, Oregon. I’ve always remembered the two things. Totally irrelevant, but I remember things that way. LOL
Let’s keep it clean, people.
James has won the ToC. Is it SO critical to know early who wins tonite?
Andy will get the results to us as soon as possible.
For me early is important. J! does not air here until 4:30 pm and that’s already 9:30 EST. Still have to wait 5 hours from now (11:36 HST)…..The price you pay for living in paradise.
And don’t tell me you like the hearings. They should have an own channel for them so that regular scheduled programs stay regular.
And yet another new champ after 1 day.. Congrats, Sathvik! Maybe he can string a few together?
No J! today in Chicago until the wee hours tonight.
Why bet 9k here? Just no.
The question about Paul McCartney said he had his first top 40 hit with his 3 pals in 1964. The Beatles didn’t have their first top 40 hit in 1964. They had top 40 hits in England prior to 1964, including “She Loves You”(1963), “Please Please Me”(1963) and “Love Me Do”(1962).
I got this one before Alex even finished reading the question. I was surprised not all of the contestants got it right but you know what they say. It is only easy if you know the answer.
