Correct response: What are the (Marquess of) Queensbury Rules?
More information about Final Jeopardy:
The Marquess of Queensbury Rules is the code of rules for boxing matches. They were written in the 1860s by Welshman John Graham Chambers, and endorsed by the Marquess of Queensbury. Their main change from previous rules was that gloves were mandated; this rule-set also set the length of rounds to three minutes.
The term “Marquess of Queensbury Rules” also can be used to refer to sportsmanship and fair play.
Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well! All proceeds from any “Keep The Faith And We’ll Win” shirt sold will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. To date, nearly $500 has been raised.)

This should have been a TOC question! I’m watching the show now.
There was a key word in here that should’ve pointed to the answer. That word was “Nobleman.” That should take you to someone with a British peerage title…however, the title of Marquess is hardly the first that comes to mind…Prince, Duke, Earl, etc, all came to mind first.
Knew it right off the bat –easy for someone with a knowledge of sports history, IMO.
It’s always easy when you know the answer…or have time to look up someone’s reference to a 1957 game show appearance….
I came up with Kingsbury, instead.
Yep, same. If you know ANYTHING about boxing, you know M of Q Rules.
