Correct response: What is Argentina?
More information about Final Jeopardy:
Martin Fierro (El Gaucho Martin Fierro) is Argentina’s national poem, a lengthy epic by José Hernández. Written in Spanish, it provides a link to the historical contribution of gauchos (brave horsemen, also very adept in cattle) in the development of the country (and their role in gaining independence from Spain). Gauchos could be compared to cowboys in the American West. Today, Argentina’s fertile Pampas region is crucial to the country’s beef industry.

I made the gaucho association right away, but Josh’s guess of Brazil is not unreasonable given its prominent beef industry.
I feel bad for Josh – he dared to wager big and he came so close. I guessed Brazil as well.
My immediate instinct was correct!
This is better than yesterday’s episode.
I’ve been watching J! Since 1964 and was a 3-day champ in 1989. Today’s valentine question has to be the easiest ever.
Been watching just as long (Art Fleming!)…yeah it was definitely a gimme, even for a J! round top row question!
Also remember when it was called St. Valentine’s Day! 👨🦳
