Any idea why New York Times has a different clue?
I don’t know. The NYT one is from James Holzhauer’s 4th win and was not a game planned in this set of encore presentations at all.
I’m confused. This is supposed to be “big champions, big wins”. Then why not recap Gilbert’s 5th game “blockbuster win” as Alex called it? That game was more exciting and would fit the theme. I thought these episodes were gonna be the player’s best games.
I’m guessing it’s because Gilbert came back and won from being in 3rd at the 1st break.
Weren’t there episodes taped without an audience? Did they not air?
Those episodes did, in fact, air. The show did a good job of hiding the fact, though.
It was a rough show with 3 wrong answers on the daily double resulted a shutout.
I did my best but never took archaeology and never applied for a Fulbright 🙂
Gilbert was a good competitor.
