Fall 2023 Champions Wildcard: Diamonds – Finals Preview

For the second time, we’re down to 3 players in Champions Wildcard. One of these three players is Tournament of Champions bound. Here are the stats:

Tuesday, November 7, 2023 & Wednesday, November 8, 2023:

Emily Sands (1)

5/6 in Final Jeopardy

Aaron Craig (5)
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Aaron Craig on Jeopardy!
111 correct, 10 incorrect
8/8 on rebound attempts (on 18 rebound opportunities)
36.14% in first on buzzer (103/285)
2/5 on Daily Doubles (Net Earned: -$6,000)
2/5 in Final Jeopardy
Average Coryat: $14,720

Overall Thoughts: To me, I think the likeliest result is Emily 1st, Jilana 2nd, Aaron 3rd. Emily has generally been the strongest player throughout the event, bets aggressively on Daily Doubles, and hasn’t made as many mistakes in general. Of course, anything can happen in a final, but I think it would be an upset if anyone but Emily were to win this.
