Overall Thoughts: Well, this was an unexpected matchup, seeing the two top game and money winners going in playing each other at this stage of the competition. To me, this would have been like had Matt Amodio and Amy Schneider been paired with each other in the semifinals of the last Tournament of Champions. In any case, expect a very closely contested two-way match in this one, where the winner has a much easier route to the Tournament of Champions.

Friday, November 3, 2023:
T.J. Tallie (19) San Diego, California ![]() 69 correct, 14 incorrect 1/1 on rebound attempts (on 8 rebound opportunities) 43.27% in first on buzzer (74/171) 3/5 on Daily Doubles (Net Earned: -$400) 1/3 in Final Jeopardy Average Coryat: $18,133 |
|
Leah Wiegand (21) Austin, Texas ![]() 33 correct, 6 incorrect 3/3 on rebound attempts (on 15 rebound opportunities) 18.71% in first on buzzer (32/171) 1/1 on Daily Doubles (Net Earned: $4,000) 1/3 in Final Jeopardy Average Coryat: $9,600 |
|
Aaron Craig (5) Toronto, Ontario, Canada ![]() 91 correct, 7 incorrect 8/8 on rebound attempts (on 14 rebound opportunities) 35.96% in first on buzzer (82/228) 2/4 on Daily Doubles (Net Earned: -$2,000) 2/4 in Final Jeopardy Average Coryat: $14,950 |
Overall Thoughts: If quarterfinal performance is any indication here, I think this one will probably be a heated battle between T.J. and Aaron. Anything seems to happen when Aaron Craig is on stage, though, and I suspect we’ll be in for at least one end-of-week surprise in this game!

Overall Thoughts: It’s clear that the producers have elected to go for three strong two-way battles here; Dave and Jilana will have a spirited battle. Jilana does have the extra recent experience from Second Chance, though, which I think does give her a slight advantage in this one. Anything can happen, though!
