Vince had a very strong game in his quarterfinal and certainly will be looking to keep the Montreal win streak going. However, all three players in this game are strong and absolutely anybody can win this one.

While many were disappointed to see Lisa go, Taylor has his own fans who are very happy to see him advance this far. |
Overall Thoughts: Chances of winning: Deb 35.014% Taylor 33.221% Diandra 31.765%
This is shaping up to be a very closely contested semifinal match. I could see any of the three players in this one advancing.

Tuesday, February 20, 2024:
Kat Jepson (17) +470 Roanoke, Virginia ![]() 56 correct, 6 incorrect 4/4 on rebound attempts (on 11 rebound opportunities) 30.41% in first on buzzer (52/171) 3/3 on Daily Doubles (Net Earned: $15,000) 2/3 in Final Jeopardy Average Coryat: $15,667 Kat defeated Long Nguyen in one of the best games of all time on February 13; if she still has anything left in the tank after that, she has another very strong opponent in Alex. |
|
Alex Gordon (3) +470 Somers, New York ![]() 99 correct, 16 incorrect 4/8 on rebound attempts (on 21 rebound opportunities) 42.54% in first on buzzer (97/228) 5/6 on Daily Doubles (Net Earned: $9,200) 3/4 in Final Jeopardy Average Coryat: $16,450 Alex advanced out of the “I Walk The Line” Triple Stumper game on February 8 over Ed Petersen and Suzanne Goldlust. |
|
Jesse Matheny (27) +1600 Huntington, Indiana ![]() 57 correct, 14 incorrect 1/1 on rebound attempts (on 7 rebound opportunities) 35.88% in first on buzzer (61/170) 2/6 on Daily Doubles (Net Earned: -$4,200) 0/3 in Final Jeopardy Average Coryat: $12,667 Jesse’s shrewd Final Jeopardy bet led to a come-from-behind victory from him on February 9. |
Overall Thoughts: Chances of winning: Alex 39.275% Kat 38.800% Jesse 21.925%
The prediction model thinks that Kat is very likely to have a very spirited two-way battle for the second round in a row. However, don’t count Jesse out here. There’s enough variance baked into the game at this level.
