The iconic disco soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever contained such disco classics as “Stayin’ Alive”, “A Fifth of Beethoven”, and “Disco Inferno”. It was also the best-selling album of all time for a number of years until it was surpassed by Michael Jackson’s Thriller. John Travolta starred in the film as “king of the discos” Tony Manero.

Game Recap:

Not that this particular performance would quite the many haters she had during her initial run, but Laura Faddah had a very strong game in this one, picking up 21 correct responses and a $20,000 Coryat score. She shone in Double Jeopardy, getting 4 in the “White” Wedding category and 3 in Literary Geography, cruising to a runaway. While Brad got 4 in Destiny’s Other Children and 3 in science news, a missed Daily Double on the fifth Destiny clue and some very suspect clue selection (going to a $400 clue instead of the $1200 clue and giving up control of the board) took away any chance he had of winning this one.

All three players did come up with this one in Final, as Laura picked up a few extra hundred dollars on her total.

Scores going into Final:

Laura $20,400
Brad $9,200
Carole $6,400

Tonight’s results:

Carole $6,400 + $3,000 = $9,400 (What is Saturday Night Fever?)
Brad $9,200 + $0 = $9,200 (What is Saturday Night Fever?)
Laura $20,400 + $600 = $21,000 (What is Saturday Night Fever?) (6-day total: $79,400)
