DJ! round categories:
THE 60s
COOL PLACES TO GO
FOLK MUSIC

POLL
MARRIED
Ken, amusingly, saw the following Daily Double under MARRIED: 19th c. humorist Artemus Ward called this Utahan “dreadfully married … the most married man I ever saw” (Who is Brigham Young?) – of course, the match was already well out of hand by that point!
Ken went 5/5 in MARRIED and 3/5 in THE 60s, FOLK MUSIC, PETER, and PAUL.
Scores going into Final Jeopardy:
Ken $32,200
Josh $6,600
Patricia $5,000
Final Jeopardy! category: FAMOUS PRODUCTS
Final Jeopardy! clue: First designed as a surgical disinfectant, in 1895 it was available to dentists & by 1914 was sold OTC
What is Listerine?
Patricia 5000 – 1700 = 3300 (What is same as Ken’s answer?)
Josh 6000 – 3401 = 3199 (What is Windex?)
Ken 32200 + 2800 = 35000 (11-day total: $376,158)
Patricia wouldn’t be the last person to crack a similar joke during Final Jeopardy.

Ken’s interview today talks about his son, who at the time was just one year old:
Alex: Ken Jennings is our champion. Got a little one at home.
Ken: He’s just one year old, alex.
Alex: I understand that he’s already into Jeopardy!
Ken: He’s never sung for us before, but my wife and I have been watching like 380 shows of Jeopardy! a day to sort of cram for this a bit. And one day after the third show,
we heard this little voice going la-la-la-la-la-la; it was a little creepy.
[Audience laughing]
Alex: No, not at all. The possibility exists that he will someday become a multiple champion on the program.
Ken: Break my record.
Alex: You bet. Alright. But your record is not done yet.
