What is Hermione?

Today’s results will go up on this page late afternoon, with full stats early evening. They will be seen in the comments section at the bottom of this page.

Of course, the popular book series trio is Harry-Hermione-Ron from Harry Potter.

In terms of the mythological Hermione: the best description of her would be that in the time of the Trojan War, she was accidentally betrothed to both Neoptolemus and Orestes (one by her father, one by her grandfather), and in the ensuing struggle, she ended up running off with Orestus; Hermione and Orestus had a son together, Tisamenus.

Sources differ, though. Ovid in Heroides seems to claim the double-betrothal existed, Euripides in Andromache disputes it.
