Correct response: What is Victoria Falls?

Did you know that you can now find game-by-game stats of everyone, including James Holzhauer, who has won 10 or more games on Jeopardy!, here on the site?

More information about Final Jeopardy:

David Livingstone wrote of his sighting of Victoria Falls on the upper Zambezi River in his Missionary Travels and Researches in South Africa. Interestingly, Livingstone underestimated his descriptions of Victoria Falls in the work, estimating the river as a thousand yards across at the falls with a drop of 100 feet; in actuality, the Zambezi River is about a mile wide at the top of the falls, with a drop of about 350 feet. Today, the falls sit on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well! All proceeds from any “Keep The Faith And We’ll Win” shirt sold will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. To date, over $370 has been raised.)

6 Comments on "Today’s Final Jeopardy – July 22, 2019"

  1. We start the finale week with a triple stumper.

  2. Loved the way Jason tactically went to the lower value clues when he got the big lead and Alex said less than a minute. Not everybody tries to run out the clock like that. You don’t know how many of the remaining clues you will get to, and it makes sense not to give your opponents a chance at the higher value ones if you can.

  3. Was it my imagination or was there a typo in the clue about Julie Andrews? I’m fairly certain the clue read in part, “… I was to pretty…”

  4. Andy: I’m sure the first in on buzzer % for James is incorrect.
