Correct response: What is Singin’ In The Rain?
More information about Final Jeopardy:
According to an article in the Fall 2009 Director’s Guild of America Quarterly, the production of Gene Kelly’s iconic water-drench solo from Singin’ In The Rain had an issue: every day at 4:00 PM, the sun would start to set, and Culver City’s residents would begin to water their lawns. The collective strain on the city’s water system meant that the production wasn’t able to generate enough water pressure for the required amount of rain. Thankfully, after months of rehearsals and choreography, it only took about three days to film the scene.
Interestingly, on March 25, 2013, “Singing In The Rain” was accepted as a correct response in Final Jeopardy!. Note that, unlike “Gangster” vs. “Gangsta”, there is generally no substantive difference between “Singing” and “Singin'”.
Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well! All proceeds from any “Keep The Faith And We’ll Win” shirt sold will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. To date, nearly $500 has been raised.)

Fun final clue. Hope you’re doing better, Andy.
i got it, somewhat surprisingly.
i do think “singing in the rain” is wrong though. they didn’t take “wimbleton” even though that’s how many people say it.. FWIW, i would have been wrong too if they didn’t take “singing” as the answer
and don’t get me wrong, if i was the judge i’m sure many of my decisions would be questioned too.
I enjoyed Jessica’s larger Final Jeopardy bets. She wasn’t messing around. I hope Sid gets aggressive too.
