Andy’s Pregame Thoughts: When a streak gets this long, the #1 question going into every episode: will today be the day that the champion gets defeated? Our challengers are going to need to do better on the Daily Doubles than Matt does in order to have a chance.
Interestingly, Mike Richards did put a minor spoiler in his recent email to the Jeopardy! staff (the one that was nearly immediately leaked and reported on by the media), making reference to an end total donated to charity that has yet to be announced.
PSA: The best way to keep COVID-19 at bay (and keep Jeopardy! producing new episodes) is for everybody to get their vaccinations as soon as they are able to. When wearing a mask, ensure that your mask covers both your nose and your mouth.

More information about Final Jeopardy: (The following write-up is original content and is copyright 2021 The Jeopardy! Fan. It may not be copied without linked attribution back to this page.)
Ethiopia has long been admired by the rest of Africa for its generally being able to avoid lengthy stretches of being occupied by colonial powers (as Italy was only able to occupy it for a few years in the late 1930s). Its tricolor of green, gold, and red horizontal bands have become the pan-African colors and have been used on the flags of numerous African countries. Ghana was the first country outside of Ethiopia to incorporate the colors into its own flag, doing so in 1957.

I’m enjoying Joe Buck way more than I thought I would. He just needs to tone down the volume of his voice a bit but at this point in his sports announcer career he probably can’t 😊.
Should have been Buzzy or Ken. This whole thing has been very slimy and underhanded.
Joe Buck is definitely growing on me. There are so many hosts that clearly outshine MR! Oh well, hopefully , he will grow into the job over time.
