PSA: The best way to keep COVID-19 at bay (and keep Jeopardy! producing new episodes) is for everybody to get their vaccinations as soon as they are able to, including any boosters as recommended. When wearing a mask, please ensure that your mask covers both your nose and your mouth.

According to sources, this Union soldiers’ song dates to 1863, and was sung to the tune of “When Johnny Comes Marching Home”; per the song, “Then Mac was recalled, but after Antietam / Hurrah! Hurrah! / Abe gave him a rest / he was too slow to beat ’em”. McClellan’s inaction following Antietam has been covered by the writers before; as it turns out, it was because the Union general disagreed with the Emancipation Proclamation. (The link to the April 27, 2020 Final above has some incredible historical shade from Lincoln towards his general.)

For any Buzzy Cohen fans who didn’t see it, Buzzy has joined ABC’s nighttime version of The Chase. They have 5 chasers now, which seems like a lot for a show that is only on once a week, but Buzzy will eventually get his turn.
