Andy’s Pregame Thoughts:
The encore presentations of the 32nd Tournament of Champions conclude today with the Tournament of Champions exhibition game. Due to the fact that the Tournament of Champions final took 5 games, the show elected to air this game on the Friday back in February, even though it had aired on TuneIn Radio on January 24. This allowed the show to promote that the Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament started the following Monday while also obfuscating the fact that the Tournament of Champions final took 5 games and not 6.
This game featured the three seeded quarterfinalists in the tournament—Adriana Harmeyer, Isaac Hirsch, and Drew Basile—who got seeded into the semifinals thanks to their regular play win streaks.

In Greek mythology, Atlas was the Titan condemned to hold up the sky for eternity. Due to Mercator publishing his book of maps in honor of Atlas in the 16th century, the term “atlas” has been used since in referring to books of maps.

Andy – you often make the point that we need easy Final Jeopardy answers as well as Tournament’s finals being harder.
Do you think this was too easy? Or again, still needed to keeping the betting honest?
Considering that the stakes of this game were zero, I don’t mind the show putting out an easy Final here.
