First, season 25’s Teen Tournament is airing this week on GSN. That means we will see Drew Scheeler again, on Wednesday’s episode. I’m eager to see it again, now that I kinda know him!
Tomorrow, we’ll have our first update of the Summer Hiatus Challenge, as the first day will be complete. That means you still have time to play, but you have to hurry if you want to make Day 1.

Now for Q and A with Leo Lopez! He played on Thursday and Friday last week.
Q: You’re a psychiatrist! I’m an RN at a psychiatric hospital. 🙂
Leo: I am a psychiatrist! I’m currently working at Zucker Hillside Hospital, a free-standing psychiatrist hospital in Queens at which I am one of the Chief Residents. I have a particular interest in schizophrenia research.
Q: I’d love to know all about your blog. (That’s how I found you.)
Leo: I started the blog early in my residency in an effort to gain some balance and indulge some of my interests (music, food, etc). We’re not yet where I’d like us to be, but we’ve had more success that I would have imagined, garnering a loyal following, enlisting dozens of contributors, and being granted access to events like the New York Film Festival and South by Southwest. Hopefully the Jeopardy appearance will bring us a few new fans!
Q: Mr. Trebek mentioned your wife, and how she’s a primatologist. Might we see her on the show someday? (If we haven’t already!) 🙂
Leo: My wife is a physical anthropologist working at New York University, and she is tremendously bright. She has a lot of knowledge in some of my weaker areas, as I do in hers, and she has mentioned on numerous occasions that she wishes Jeopardy would start a spouses tournament. Personally, I couldn’t agree more; I think this would be tremendously popular. I might have to try and sell a few people at the show on this idea 🙂
Q: Is there anything else you want to say?
Leo: I just wrote a lengthy piece on the website in which I said just about everything I have to say on Jeopardy. It was surreal, exhausting, and tremendously exciting. I consider myself exceptionally fortunate to have been given the opportunity to appear on the show, and my only regret is that I can’t appear again.
Thanks, Leo!
