#SHC2012 Week 6 Day 4, plus news

First, I’m sure Andy won’t mind me telling you his birthday is tomorrow (Wednesday). I encourage you to tweet him or leave a comment below one of our posts. 😉
So according to this, the next Tournament of Champions will be in February 2013, and there’s going to be another Teachers Tournament before that in November. Since Beau Henson is at the bottom of the Tournament of Champions list right now, this drops him right off. This is really sad, but probably not quite as harsh as if a regular contestant were to pass Beau on the list.
Here are the people I’m watching, from first place to last this round, in the Summer Hiatus Challenge on the Jeopardy message boards:
Julie Bratvold Ghanbari
Ryan Chaffee
Stefan Goodreau (Do you like his new ‘do? Here’s another view – and a couple more familiar faces. Here’s what Hans is doing in southern California.)
Alison Stone Roberg
Joon Pahk
Me
Vito Cortese
Robert By the way, Robert tells me Mr. Trebek is hosting Jeopardy! now thru 2016. So those of us that wouldn’t mind a second chance will have to wait a while. (I know, maybe forever.)
