What is Namibia?
Namibia, of course, is named after southwest Africa’s Namib Desert, which runs along its coast. The Kalahari Desert is located in its east. According to the CIA World Factbook, Namibia is the first country in the world to incorporate environmental protection into its constitution, with nearly the entire Namib Desert being protected land.
With only 2.1 million people over nearly 319,000 square miles, Namibia is the second-least densely populated full UN member, after Mongolia. Iceland sits third, followed by Suriname and Mauritania. Canada is 8th.
Of course, “UN member” certainly disqualifies the disputed African territory known as Western Sahara.

I think the Western Sahara is the correct answer.
Western Sahara, per the UN itself, is considered a territory at this point. It is neither a country, nor a UN member, thus it can not be considered the correct response to this clue.
Also note the list at http://www.un.org/en/member-states/index.html which does not list Western Sahara.
During today’s game, Alex jokingly said he was abducted by aliens at some point.
Clearly, this situation is what led to Malcolm.
Thanks to KARE, I knew today’s Final response instantly. 😉
