What is Prague?
Vaclavske Namesti, known in English as Wenceslas Square, is one of the two main squares on Prague (the other being Old Town Square). Wenceslas Square is Prague’s “new town” square. Of course, the word “new” is slightly misleading in this context, as it was constructed in the 14th century and originally served as Prague’s horse market.
Of course, Saint Wenceslas is the patron saint of the Czech Republic, and the story of him going to give alms to a peasant in harsh winter weather on St. Stephen’s Day is the premise of the well-known Christmas carol “Good King Wenceslas”.
On a more light-hearted note: how did Good King Wenceslas like his pizza? Deep pan, crisp, and even. (I’m here all week.)

Basically an unfair queation Requires knowledge of Czech.
I disagree.
Vaclav Havel is routinely a first- or second-row subject on Jeopardy. A train of thought from Vaclavske – Vaclav – Czech Republic – Prague was expected and more than fair.
I know no Czech and I got Final Jeopardy! within five seconds.
I was very proud of myself for immediately getting Vaclav…and then my brain derailed and decided he had been president of Poland. :p
Oh no!
Oh, Laurie! You didn’t! The Velvet Revolution!
Yes, definitely not a shining moment, mixing up Vaclav Havel and Lech Walesa!
Well, better to make that mistake on your couch (as opposed to with the bright lights on you!)
