Jonathan Cain, Journey’s keyboardist, provided the title “Don’t Stop Believin'” from his conversations with his father, who said “Don’t stop believing or you’re done”.

It had a resurgence in popularity after its use in the finale of The Sopranos in 2007 and has since become the #1 paid digital download of any song released in the 20th century.

I predict that Kelly and Tanya get it right, Tanya wins again, and Daniel doesn’t get to play Final.

  2. I wonder if they’ll accept Believing for Believin’? (I never realized it was the latter until now.)

  3. Scores going into Final:
    Tanya $15,800
    Daniel $12,600
    Kelly $7,400

    Final results:
    Kelly $7,400 – $0 = $7,400 (What is ?)
    Daniel $12,600 – $12,599 = $1 (What is Keep On Rocking?)
    Tanya $15,800 + $12,605 = $28,405 (What is Don’t Stop Believing?) (2-day total: $63,210)

Never heard of this before, to be honest. I’m curious how the players will be doing. Am a little confused by Mark’s prediction”right but not correct”?? Do you mean “believing” instead of “believin'”??

    • I think that’s exactly what he’s predicting. (Hence, my prediction of a headache.)

    • Mark Barrett | May 23, 2017 at 3:50 pm |

“Believin'” correctly completes the song title. “Believing” to complete the song title was ruled right. The same thing happened in a previous FJ! round with “Singing in the Rain” accepted even though the correct title is “Singin’ in the Rain.”

  5. john blahuta | May 23, 2017 at 2:37 pm |

Looks like Tanya fancies to wager bigger than necessary in FJ. So far it has worked, 2 days 63.210 is anything but shabby!!

  6. I got to say Tanya is mad good but the second she runs into a contestant that’s a buzzer master she’s in a bit of trouble.
