  1. would “the coyote” have been ok? i wasn’t sure if he was wile e or not?

i am almost certain they’d take “the road runner” as a final J answer but it seems quite a bit rarer word than coyote

    It’s “wily,” not “wiley”…

  3. VERY surprised ALL three got it (They were all definitely too young to have seen the Looney Tunes cartoons when they first came out–in Alex’s words, “way before your time”–so I guess they must have caught the reruns at some point…)–I had nooooo clue–Any inclusion of the designation “Acme” would, of course, have helped me out a lot…

  4. I suspect the iron carrot was meant for Bugs Bunny. Wile E. Coyote had his share of run-ins with him, too. (If I recall, the Coyote would speak in a sort of professorial tone during his Bugs shorts when trying to come up with a plan there, but was quiet during the Road Runner shorts. Makes since as Bugs could talk (and talk back to him) and RR didn’t.

  5. I was a little surprised by the triple stumper clue on Milton Hershey, especially since the two challengers each live a few hours drive from that area. Emily, in her Twitter feed last night, mentioned that they’d had a Hershey question in rehearsal so they thought the one in the game was a trick question.

  6. Would “ANIMATED” CHARACTERS have been too much of a giveaway I wonder?? Seems to roll off the tongue more smoothly in any case…
