How could Dana bet $7000.00 in Final when she had only $6100. going into it?
Something seems off with the scores. If I am reading this correctly Dana bet more money than she had in Final Jeopardy!?
Eric won the game with 14.000(7.000 plus 7.000), second was Dana with 12.000 (6.100 plus 6.000 and Wayne third with 11.700 (9.700 plus 2.000). At least according to J!archive…
But then the 9 semi-finalists never played in the first round, also to J!archive……Something is wrong here, either in the daily scores or in J!archive.
Fixed. Thanks, everyone, who commented.
the baseball question who was the first baseball team in CANADA
the answer they gave was TRONTO it should have been MONTREAL they CAME IN 1969
Speaking as a subject matter expert (I have authored two books on baseball): You misread the clue, Dan.
It read: “In March baseball’s American League voted to award its first Canadian franchise to this city”
Montreal had a National League team, not an American League team.
Toronto was correct.
Actually, the question was what was the first American League franchise awarded to Canada.
