More information about Final Jeopardy:

Upon its 1946 independence (from the United Kingdom), the country was known as the Hashemite Kingdom of Transjordan; its name officially changed to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in 1949. Interestingly, the Soviet Union vetoed Jordan’s entry into the United Nations until 1955 (on the grounds that it routinely vetoed any country’s entry if it lacked diplomatic ties with the Soviet Union).

Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well! All proceeds from any “Keep The Faith And We’ll Win” shirt sold will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. To date, nearly $500 has been raised.)

  1. Michael is easily the most successful celebrity at Jeopardy. Prior to winning $1,000,000 this episode, he earned > $30K In 4 of 5 appearances (his first episode was a pre-doubled $15,400), his second a dominating $28,600 Coryat with 33 right replies. He is 100% with DD’s and up to thIs episode was 100% with FJ. However, if Jane‘s FJ wager was better…!

I tend to think of them as:
Jane Curtin – Saturday Night Live
Cheech Marin – Cheech & Chong
Michael McKean – Laverne & Shirley
