Correct response: What is San Diego?

The very first video uploaded to YouTube could be watched and contestants could still have time to write down “What is San Diego?” on their screens; the video is only 19 seconds long. It was filmed near the elephants at the famous San Diego Zoo and was uploaded by the site’s founder, “jawed”, on April 23, 2005. The video was titled “Me at the zoo”.
The San Diego Zoo itself was founded in 1916 as a result of the animal exhibitions of the 1915 Panama-California Exposition. A permanent tract of land in the city’s Balboa Park was set aside in 1921 for the zoo.

- This was definitely a game that came down to the aggression on Daily Doubles. Lawrence bet much more aggressively than Michelle did, and that was your difference.

Lawrence wagered too much in final. The optimal wager is 8401-9199 to maximize his chances of winning.
Easy clue for me for a couple reasons. First, my fiancee, who is legally blind, was given a four hour tour of the San Diego Zoo several years ago while in town for a conference. She said that San Diego is her favourite zoo. Secondly, although Animal Planet has a show called The Zoo: San Diego, the zoo was made famous by Joan Embrey making many appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.
Michelle Bemis here. I agree it was a matter of wagering conservatively vs aggressively. In hindsight I should have bet more, especially on the DD. For the final, I knew from Jarchive to double +$1 James, but I neglected to wager enough to cover Lawrence if he wagered $0. Whoops!
Amazing experience all around, fingers crossed for the second chance tournament!
