A couple of notes regarding today’s game: Today is a travel day for me—assuming the weather doesn’t turn any worse here—thus, there might be delays in terms of results and statistics. According to the current owners of the brand—Hershey—Milk Duds were introduced in the late 1920s; the brand got its name because F. Hoffman & Co. of Chicago, the initial manufacturer, were unable to get the chocolate-covered caramels completely round. Thus, they were called “duds”, and the brand name Milk Duds took off.
