Yesterday, Caerphilly’s Ben Jones won his 5th game, becoming the UK’s all-time leading money winner on Jeopardy at £31,631. With only five games to go in Series 2, though, there’s only so much more that Ben can win, but he does keep playing in this series until he loses! 1. David in London | April 16, 2025 at 7:08 pm |

Wow, that was quite intense. Fascinating that Ben and Lewis seemed to know each other quite well from their quizzing, it changed the dynamic and made it feel a bit like a duel. I felt sorry for Rachel having to face them. It would have been impossible to keep up with the Joneses (sorry, couldn’t resist the pun).

I guessed 30 for FJ, having wavered between that and 21. One of them even more wrong than the other, I guess.

  2. Took the citizenship test required for high schoolers to graduate here in the U.S. last week (and passed it, luckily!), so this has been on my mind for a bit.

If there was a UK Second Chance competition for the last two series, Lewis would absolutely be my first pick for that tournament! Today was one of the best duels the show has seen at this point, and I thought Lewis might be able to clutch out a runaway at some point before Double Jeopardy was over. I don’t envy Rachel whatsoever for pretty much having a front-row seat to that battle (and thanks, David in London, for saving me from being the one to have to make the “Keeping up with the Joneses” pun!)

    • I knew it was 35 because I have wasted my eligibility for more than that number of years 😉.
